Crossfire HD 1400 Rangefinder with HCD — Horizontal Component Distance

The Crossfire HD 1400 is one of three recent additions to Vortex's offering of Rangefinder products. The extremely effective angle compensated laser rangefinder features three targeting modes (Normal Mode, First Mode and Last Mode) for any ranging environment. The primary HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) range mode provides key angle compensated range information required by many users that require ranging capability over this sort of distance in a simple, quick to read display. The Crossfire HD 1400 also has a LOS (Line of Sight) range mode and scan feature and has a new red TOLED display keeping the readout clear in all lighting conditions.

The HD Optical System, optimized with select glass elements delivers exceptional resolution, cuts chromatic aberration and provides outstanding colour fidelity along with edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission in combination with XR™ Plus Multi-Coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces to provide maximum light transmission for clarity and excellent low-light performance.

O-rings seal the Crossfire HD 1400 for waterproof performance. Ideal for sporting use such as golf or target shooters, the Vortex Crossfire HD 1400 is sure to be a useful addition to your kit bag.

The Crossfire HD 1400 uses HCD (Horizontal Component Distance) angle-compensated ranging technology to give the critical distance data needed to take accurate ranging measurements. It is capable of ranging reflective targets to 1400 yards. with an ultra-fast readout on non-reflective targets to 750 yards.
