The Cullmann 1003 comes complete with a ball and socket head with 1/4" screw thread making it very easy to convert to a window or bonnet-mounted rifle rest using the Cullmann 1008 Gun Rest (as shown in picture). A quick loosen of the head's locking screw enables you to smoothly pan left and right through 360 degrees should you require it.
Without the 1008 Gun Rest on it, the 1003 Suction Cup can be used as a lamp mount for the increasing number of high-powered lamps featuring a 1/4" screw thread in them.
If greater elevation is required, the Pedco UBS001 ball and socket head (supplied as part of the Ultraclamp Kit (see below) but also available separately) can be attached between the ball and socket head and the Gun Rest.
Pedco UMC001 Ultraclamp Kit & Cullmann 1008 Gun Rest
The Pedco UMC001 Ultraclamp Kit will attach to most objects less then 1.5" wide making it an ideal clamp for attaching to car windows, post and rail fencing and other similar items. With its rubber cushioned jaws you can attach it to windows without fear of scratching them.
Pictured left, the UMC001 is being used as a car window mount in conjunction with the Cullmann 1008 Gun Rest. Like the 1003 Suction Cup, the UMC001 Ultraclamp kit features a 1/4" thread on the ball and socket head making it compatible with most cameras, camcorders, spotting 'scopes and of course the Cullmann 1008 Gun Rest
The Ultraclamp Kit comprises 2 sections, the UBS001 ball and socket mount and the UMC111 Clamp (see bottom of page for individual component prices).
Individual Component Parts
As mentioned above, the UMC001 Ultraclamp Kit is available in its component parts, so for example the UBS001 ball and socket section (below left) can be added to the Cullmann 1003 Suction Cup for added elevation for the 1008 Gun mount (below right). The UMC111 Clamp section (below middle) is also available separately and can be attached to many items with a 1/4" thread such as the Cullmann 0903 ball and socket head or 2710 pan and tilt head.
