The newly-redesigned Cullmann Quicksetter is the perfect way to upgrade your 'old-faithful' tripod, ball and socket head or other camera support system to have a quick release plate facility so you no longer have to screw and unscrew whichever piece of equipment you wish to attach to it. It also features 3 spirit levels.
Simply screw the Quicksetter onto the thread (it comes with both 1/4" and 3/8" thread adapters) and your old equipment now has a quick-release system. Spare plates (see below) can then be permanently attached to each of your pieces of equipment and interchanging becomes quick and easy!
Cullmann 40470 Quick Release Plate - £10.99
The 40470 QR plate is the same as is supplied with the 40440 QR Quicksetter unit (above). It has a 1/4" tripod screw and spring-loaded retractable anti-twist / video pin.
This plate comes as standard with new Nanomax 250 & 260 tripods and the Magnesit 525M tripod & monopod combination.
Cullmann 0081-0085 Quick Release Plates
The range of Cullmann 008x quick release plates will fit any of the 3000 and 2000 series Cullmann tripods and assorted clamps. They are available in a variety of thread sizes and anti-twist fittings depending on your equipment's fittings (see below).

Cullmann 3011 (£12.25) & 3012 (£14.30) Quick Release plates
The Cullmann 3011 (left & foreground) and 3012 Quick release plates will fit all standard Cullmann quick release systems but are ideally designed for use with the larger 3000 series tripods and heads. Both the 3011 and 3012 have a ¼" screw thread with the 3011 featuring a spring-loaded retractable anti-twist pin for use primarily with camcorders and telescopes. The 3012 plate features an anti-twist buffer which is suitable for use with 35mm SLR cameras.
Cullmann 0957 Key & Lock - £19.40
The Cullmann 0957 Key & lock set is designed for use with the 2000 and 3000 series tripods. It allows the user to lock the QR plate into the tripod head and safeguards against both theft of the equipment from off the tripod and also the user accidentally releasing (difficult!) the QR plate.
