40027 CB2 Reversible Ball & Socket head - £24.99

Back by popular demand in a slightly improved form and with new cosmetics. The 40027 CB2 head continues where the 40150 Mini left off in that it features the reversible top section so you can use it either as a standard 1/4" thread ball & socket head or as a flash shoe mount for off-camera flash or slaves.

The new CB2 head has been upgraded to feature a more precise control over the lock and tension on the ball system via careful adjustment of the rubberised control knob on the side.

A replacement for the popular 0903 ball and socket head, the 40031 has all the same features of the original including the annodised aluminium body, single control knob for both panning and ball head action and 1/4" thread connections on the top and bottom of the head.

40071 CB7.1 Ball & Socket head - £39.99

The NEW CB 7.1 Ball & Socket head features a reversable 1/4" or 3/8" screw thread on the top plate making it suitable for use with the majority of compact cameras, SLRs, DSLRs, Camcorders and also most medium format cameras up to a maximum weight of 4kg.

The mounting thread on the base of the head can also be switched between accommodating either a 1/4" thread or 3/8" thread by the use of the included 1/4"-3/8" adapter.

The CB 7.1 features more precise control of the ball adjustment over the 0903/04/05 range of heads via careful adjustment of the control lever on the side.

The CB7.1 can have the existing 40440 Quick Release system which includes the 40470 quick release plate added to it for added versatility and the ability to quickly attach or remove a camera / camcorder etc.

The 40440 system also includes 3 spirit levels and a double safety latch quick release.

The NEW CB 7.3 Ball & Socket head with Quick Release System features the same specifications as the above CB 7.1 head but comes complete with the 40440 Quick Release system and 40470 Quick release plate.

40725 CW 25 3-way Photo Head - £29.99

This new lightweight 3-way head is made entirely of aluminium, and includes the 40470 quick release plate.

It is generally suited to the lighter DSLR cameras or camcorders but can manage up to a maximum weight of 6kgs and itself weighs only 420g.

 

 

 

The CW-25 is also available with a shorter locking lever for the 'portrait' axis (First 2 images above). This makes it suitable for use with lightweight 'spotting scopes' where the vertical axis can stay locked and the controlling locking handle does not get in the way of general use, in effect making it a 2-way head.
